A walk on the weekend.

Howdy Mates, how ya all going?  We went for a walk on Sunday and we nearly had some blue sky.  Nearly.  Spring is just around the corner for us and we say, thank dog for that.  Here we are doing the usual sit/stay.  Sigh.  It's mum's favourite cause she never thought we would do it.

Here's me on the old tree trunk.  This tree fell down a few years ago and has a hole running right through the middle of it, lengthwise.  It must be good for little creatures to hide in.  Dad put me up on top just so mum could get a photo.  Sigh (again).  See what we have to put up with.

I must admit, I look very regal hehehehe.

Muuuuum, did I hear the crackle of a treat bag????

Rory, wait for me little brother.

This photo mum actually tried to be creative, butt, in some she had the sun behind us and our faces were all dark.  One day, mum says she will get a 'you beaut' camera and try to become a famous photographer!  Well, famous in our family at least hehe.

In these last photos, for some reason the grass has come out all artificial looking.  We don't know why.  This is the beauty we see around us as we walk along the summer track (which is a dirt road near our house).  We feel very lucky indeed.

See ya mates.  Have a wonderful Wednesday.

Rory sings on Sunday

No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

P.S.  An update on our cousin Tyler.  He is home now, tremors and shaking have stopped.  Phew.  He gets tired more easily butt that will pass in time.  He is still a cheeky buggar with a wag in his tail and given the opportunity (which he will NOT be getting) he would still eat compost!  Thanks mates.  X X

Tyler Update

Howdy Mates.  Thank you for all your good thoughts for our cousin Tyler.  He has been at the Vets, on a drip and having valium to stops his spasms and shaking.  He seems ok.

The Vet said poisons like this can affect the liver and it can take days/weeks to be filtered out. When this happens Tyler can become ill and have symptoms again.  One day fine, the next sick.  We are confident he will be fine because he is a strong healthy young man (nearly four years old) and he is wondering what the heck all the fuss is about.

Our two sisters who live at Tyler's house wished they could have valium too!  Nah, not really, well maybe just a little, hehe.

We will let you know more but we say THANK YOU cause we were pretty scared and it helped A LOT to know Blogville had his back.

The moral of this story is, keep your compost covered if you can, away from the dogs.  The Vet says compost is full of toxins and fungus and is a big no no for doggies.  Tyler, being a labrador, loves his food and in the few minutes before our sissy grabbed him from the neighbours, he must have had a good old feed.  Also the symptoms didn't appear until abour four hours after he had been there.

Our cousin Tyler, he's an individual!

Once again, thanks mates.  No worries (especially for Tyler) and LOVE (for all of you), Stella and Rory

POTP for Tyler please.

Howdy Mates

We need POTP for our cousin Tyler.  He got into the neighbour's yard and ate some of their compost and is now at the Vets with poisoning.  Please keep him in your thoughts.

Cold - You can have it.

Howdy Mates, as you know it's nearly the end of winter here.  We've all had a gut full.  Sick of the cold.  Sick of having to stand outside in the wind, hail and rain to have a wee.  Sick of it, I say, sick of it!

This is my unhappy face.

This is today's forcast.

Send us some warmth can ya please.  I know, I know, in a couple of months I'll be moaning about the heat but hey, I'm not perfect.  Nearly, but not quite hehe.

See ya soon mates.  No worries, and slobber, Rory (and Stella)

Mum says we smell. As if!

Howdy Mates, our cousin Jinx had a special relationship with our lizard sissy Lenny.  She wanted to eat chat with her but Lenny was never interested.  Jinx would gaze for hours, wishing with all her heart, Lenny would come out so she could eat play with her.

Now that Lenny has moved to Paul's house, Jinx is finding it hard to accept.

Rory, on the otherhand, says Lenny who??

I've explained, yes the radio does chat to her butt, it isn't Lenny.  We're hoping she realises soon, Lenny doesn't live in the radio hehe.

In other breaking news, mum says we smell.  Huh, like that's news to anyone.  Of course we do.  Especially Rory cause he farts a lot.  I, of course, being a girlie, don't fart.  Our sissy and mum saw this deal on the internuts, selling candles that smell like cinnamon and spice.  Sold.  A few days later, the Postman delivers six lovely candles.

Now we know we do not smell that bad. We kinda like our smell.   We think Mum is hoping if she burns them and the cinnamon and spice smell fills the house, people will think she can actually bake.  Ha.  We think her brain has gone coo coo.  Butt, just to humour the old girl, we'll go along with the her idea.  Sure mum, we smell.  That's right, burn those candles, cause we smell.

One in the lounge.

Two in the lounge.

One in the passage.

One in the family room.

Well, we hope mum gets her wish and the house doesn't smell like stinky farty dog and smells like freshly baked cinnamon cake.  Or, worst case scenario, it smells like both combined.  Mmmm yummy, farty cinnamon spice cake.   Anyone care for a slice?

Take care mates.

No worries, and love, Stella (non farter) and Rory (fartaholic)

The couch potato.

It was cold and dark outside.
Everyone had been fed.
Stella was sleeping on her pillow in her usual
 'head on the floor' position.

Washing was done but still needed finishing off
 with help from the heater.
 But where was Rory??
 His bed was empty??

Shhhh.  Don't tell mum I'm here.

He looks so darn comfy it's bloomin hard to make him
 get off the lounge.

I am the boss.  I am the boss.  I am the boss.
If I say it enough times, it WILL be true won't it???

Hope your weekend was a good one mates.
No worries, and love, Carol

Blimey, it's been how long????

Howdy Mates, today is mum and dad's wedding anniversary.  Thirty three years today.
Wowza, just goes to show how old they really are, hehehe.
Yes mum, you're like a bottle of well aged wine.  Not that any of them get to age around this place!

Here's old man, Neil Young, with one of mum's favourites.  Enjoy.

Have they finished smoochin' yet Rory?
Aw, bloomin' heck, let me know when I can open my eyes will ya?
