A present from Mr Frankie and the Vet stole my blood!

A few weeks ago when Dad and I were feeling poorly and mum was a misery guts, we had a wonderful surprise in the mail.  Come on James, get a hurry on mate and get this pressie on the floor for me will ya.

Hmmm, how can I get this thing open.

Sissy, can ya help us please?

Ah that's better.

Mine.  Mine.  Mine.  Mine.   Mine.

Oooh, I see a foot.  Can I chew it??

Hey, sissy can ya take the tags off for us?

I'll play with the ball first ok Rory?
Ok, no worries, Stellie.  I'll just check out these foodables.

Tra la la.  Dum de dum.
La la la.

Huh.  Did you say foodables????

Look at these beauties.  People crackers.  I said they were for mum cause sometimes she is cracker hehehe.
Happy Hips too.  Mmmmmm salmon jerky.  Healthy and totally yummers.  It did make me kinda farty though but that only added to my enjoyment.  Phrrrt.  Ahhhh, it feels and smells soooo good.

This is the note Mr Frankie and Ernie sent us.
We LOVE YA mates!

I'm not normally allowed to counter surf but mum said I could eat another people.  Nom, nom, nom.

Mum made us sit for our treats.
C'mon old girl, hurry up and give it to us.

To Mr Frankie and Ernie and their mum and dad.
THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts.  You made our day!

Now, just a quick update from me Rory.  Today I had my blood stolen by our vet Prue.  I often fall over on my bum if I slip or my legs sometimes get tangled up cause of them being wonky.  Well the other day mum notices a big swelling near the cheek of my bum.  Huh.  Didn't bother me.  Mum felt it and said it was soft and squishy.  I'm a pretty lumpy sorta fella.  I have lumps here and there and we've had them checked and well, it just how I am and I live with it.

So anyhoo, mum says, c'mon Rory, we'll go see Prue at the Vets and see what she thinks.  We arrive and go in and while we're waiting a Doberman comes in to have some stitches out.  I yell at him and tell him to get out while he can while I distract everybuddy.  Huh, he did leave, silly fella.  I just wanted all the attention to myself hehehe.  Anyhoo, Prue feels and squishes my lumpy bum and says, yep it's a haematoma, probably from a fall.  Nothing to worry about.  No Worries.   So while dad gives me a good head scritch, mmmm, it was so relaxing, mum holds the cup and Prue sucks out three big syringes of blood and stuffs.  Easy peasy.  Give me the liver treats everybuddy before I fade away from hunger.  I always get spoilt when I'm there cause I'm their biggest star.  I weighed in at 87.6 kgs (193 lbs) today.

Well mates that's it from us.  We're all doing ok.  Dad's still on the sick list but is improving.  Mum says it's time to say goodbye cause she's ready for a nice cold cider.  I'd better let her go and have it cause she has had a busy day.  See ya everybuddy.

No worries, and slobber, Rory and love, Stella

Mum takes an amazing photo. Of me, Stella!

Mum is bragging that this is possibly her best photo.
Of course it is, it has me in it hehehe.
It was taken last weekend, on a freezing cold but sunny winter's day.  She only wishes she had taken my lead off.
Have a great weekend mates.

No worries, and love, Stella and slobbers, Rory

We are Blogville - Stella and Rory

Howdy Mates.  I hope we're not late cause we just saw this event.

This is me, Stella, aged 3.  I am a bossy sort of girl and love my family to bits and pieces.  My tail wags constantly and I like to roll in horse poo and am a good eater.  I have passed Grade 6 at dog school but mum says she doesn't know how cause I am cracker.

I am Rory, also aged 3.  I am big but adorable, well so mum says anyway.  I slobber heaps and mum has to constantly wipe slobber off the walls.  I am a total mum's boy and when she goes out I sit at the window all day and wait for her to return.  I don't howl, I just look sad.

We live in a small town of 1500 people in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia.   We have five human siblings and mum and dad.  We love to go on car rides and we love walking but at the moment Rory can't walk cause he has a wonky leg.

We LOVE Blogville and all its families cause mum says without them she could not have got through the last seven months without going coo coo in the head.  We love them cause we have learned about places all around the world and seen things we otherwise would never have seen.  The best thing though is all our furriends sharing their lives with us and supporting each other through the good times and the not so good.  Thanks mates.  We love you all.

No worries, and love, Stella, and slobber, Rory

Cooee from Stella and Rory

Yaahoo to you.  Mum has FINALLY decided to get off her lazy ar, er, bottom and let us post.  I suppose, she has been a smidge busy.  What with Rory eating his second foot, then it developed sores on the sides from the bandages and then poor Dad got sick, well, she's been running around like a chook with it's head cut off (sorry to any chook furriends reading).

It's been absolutely bloomin' cold and wet and even though we know we have to have winter, it's a pain in the butt.  We don't like to go out and wee when it's cold.  Well, who does I ask ya.  Mum says she remembers the olden days when she was little and she lived with Nana and Poppa and they had an outside toilet.  Can ya believe she remembers stuffs from sooooo long ago.

Anyhoo, we've been trying to keep warm as you can see from our photos.  Sun puddles are a bonus and we make the most of them.

At night, our sissy covers us with blankies.  It is so snuggly.

Our Dad is still on the sick list.  He is having trouble with his spine/back and we are all looking after him.  He is ok but needs some more time to get fixed.

Mum said she felt like she fell off her bike.  Butt you know the old saying, when ya fall off ya bike, ya have ta get straight back on it and she says that's what she's done.  Funny old girl she is, cause we haven't even seen her anywhere near a bike and doubt with her chicken legs, she could even ride one hehehe.

So mates, we're back and we'll try to catch up with you all.  We've missed you all dearly and have felt lonely not catching up.
See ya and here's some lovin' for ya..........
