Footwash Friday

Howdy Mates.  Hey, if you've never had a nice foot wash, you gotta ask your mum to give you one.  It feels soooo good.

Yeah, yeah, right there mum.  Oooh, mmmmm.

Rory, it may smell like rotten chicken, but this is not chicken.

My mum loves me, hehe.

I am mum's good little man cause she can do anything to my dodgy foot.  One day, she says, I'll be able to walk without my bandage and boot.  Yaahooo!

And here's a photo of my sissy, Stellie.  She's being very patient cause mum has to spend extra time with me.  She has been helping clean up.  Thanks Stellie.

 Dad's coming home!

See ya mates and have a good weekend.
No worries, and slobber, Rory and Stellie

Here's a funny for ya!

She's ALWAYS watching.

Dum, dee, dum.  Mum took my boot off.  Mmmm smells nice.  Oh, gee I feel tired.  Mmmmm, soooo tired.

 (Is she watching me?)
Oh, boy, I'm soooo tired.

Yaaaawn

Mmmm, just a little nibble won't hurt will it?

R O R Y, what are you doing young man.
Eeeeeek (insert manly sounding voice here).

Hehehe, nothing mum, honest.  Er, mum, there seems to be a little pee under me.  I think it must have been Stella, hehehe.

Hey mates, does your mum have eyes in the back of her head or can she read your mind at times??  Sheesh.

No worries, and slobber, Rory

A new flashy beast? Oh blimey.

Howdy Everybuddy, our mum was spoilt on Mother's Day and was given a new camera by the kids.  Sigh.  Well, yes, we ARE glad she was spoilt but as you can see by our cousin Tyler's face, below, it now means more and more, and more, photos.  Do you know how hard it is to say cheese with snouts like ours?

I, Stella, refuse to sit still for the camera if there is no food involved.  I'm practicing my stretches so I'm ready for a day of mischief activities.

Here we are this morning.  Sheesh.  Fancy having to sit for a photo  just to get a scrap of food before breakfast.

As you can see, Rory's foot is much better.  It is still lightly strapped and he wears his boot over that.  No more blood and the nails are looking good.  Yay!
Now, give us that food old girl!

Hope your Wednesday is wonderful.
No worries, and love, Stella, Rory, and Tyler.

Rory update

Helloooo mates.  Thanks so much for all the get better wishes.  Mum, poor old sausage, was worried, what with all the blood squirting out of my nails.  I, on the other hand, wasn't bothered in the least.  Here we are yesterday morning, waiting, and waiting, and waiting, for mum to get up.

Here I am today, with Stellie, me looking so very dapper.
Don't worry about my leggie sticking out.
I just slipped on the carpet.

Mum spoke to the vet on the phone and was able to change my dressing all by herself.  Isn't she clever.  The smell was glorious what with all the old blood and stuffs.  Mmmmm, chicken hehehe.

Here are my tablets.  I have three tablets, twice a day.  One is pain relief and the others are antibiotics.  Can you see what it says on the packet?  I am the size of a calf too ahahahaha.

For some reason mum has been giving me lots of chopped up
fritz lately.
So there you have it mates.  I'm on the mend.  Bloomin' old wonky leg has been a buggar, butt I don't care.  I'm happy with my lot and it makes me especially happy to know I have you all as furiends.

See ya later aligator.
No worries, and slobber, Rory and Stella

P.S.  Our sissy came over for tea tonight and she is a darling.
She was going to make mum a trifle for Mothers Day on Sunday
but cause mum has been such a sook, she made it today.
Mum's favourite dessert is trifle!!

POTP for Rory

Howdy Everybuddy, my brother Rory has been back to the Vets.  Because his bad leg is always wobbly and wonky he drags his foot sometimes.  He wears a special boot and lately has had to wear it much more.  Mum had it off while he was inside to air his foot and check his nails and while it was off he chewed on two of his nails and has broken them and made them bleed.  A lot.  We wonder if he has limited feeling in his foot.

He has just come back from the Vet.  His foot had been fixed as best they can and he is on pain relief and has antibiotics.  It has bled through the bandages but we are hoping it will clot soon.  If not, back to the vet tomorrow.  Please send us some healing vibes. We are monitoring him closely.   Thanks mates.  Will keep you updated.

No worries, and love, Stella
P.S.  Rory is sleepy after his visit but happy.
He was a good boy and lay on the floor without any fuss whatsoever while the Vet did her job.  We are proud of him.
He also ate his four tablets good as gold.

It's Stella's Third Birthday

Howdy Everybuddy.  Today is my sissy Stella's 3rd birthday.

Just lookin' gorgeous.

Sock collector extraordinaire.

A cracker girl.

She's always cared for me.  Our first day together.

Looked after me when I had my embobolism.

Had our cousin Tyler wrapped around her little paw from day one.

So Stellie, the Cookie Monster has it right.
You are my best friend as well as my sissy.
Oh, and mum and dad and the kids love ya too!

No worries, and slobber, Rory
