The Cows Are Back

Hello Everybuddy

I've had a great day.  Today I met some strange creatures indeed.  It all started with a wander around the garden.  Please ignore all the weeds.  Dad hopes the cold weather will kill them all, but alas there are far too many.  Can you see me amongst the weeds?

Then my sissy finished work and came to pick up Tyler.  See ya buddy.

After he left it was just me versus the garden.  I was fearless.  I was a hunter.  I was superpup.

You don't scare me, Mr Frog.

After exploring I thought I would settle down for a rest when I saw them.  What the heck were they???

This is where I became the fearless warrior.  Those big black things couldn't hurt me.  I had a chicken wire fence between us!!!

(Would you believe this puny fence kept two 70 kg great danes in our yard!)

Actually, they didn't give a toss about me so in the end I decided I couldn't care less about them either.  Mum said they were cows.  I agreed.

Hope you all had a great weekend.  I hope you had 'No Worries' and love, Stella

Sissy's Baking and A Picture for Uncle Anakin, Aunty Izzie and Aunty Trixie

Hi Everybuddy, tonight my sissy decided to do some baking.  She made one big cake and some little cakes.  It smelt good.  Now I have to tell you, I belong to a family that are a little nerdy.  They all love Harry Potter.  Well, Dad not so much, but everyone else loves the books and the movies.  That is why, as you can see, the cakes were very special.

Everyone had some and said it was delicious.  I only had a couple of crumbs cause mum said she didn't want to upset my tummy.  I think I should decide that!!  I'm glad my sissy loves to bake.

Also the other day when mum was going through our cloak room (a room full of old stuff and if I ever went in there I would probably get lost) she found this little statue and straight away thought of Uncle Anakin, Aunty Trixie and Aunty Izzie.  It reminded my mum of their angel sissy Josie.  So this photo is for them.

 Have a wonderful day everybuddy.

Someone's Sleeping in My Bed

My bed used to feel big and roomy.
Nowadays it seems a bit cramped.

At times I like to stretch out and relax after a hard days play.

I hope all my blog friends will soon get some cool weather.
Here is a picture for you.  It was our coldest morning in three years on Thursday.
Mum took this over our back fence.

Take care everybuddy.

SATURDAY FOOTY

Hello Everybuddy, today I went to my first football game to watch my brothers.  They play Australian Rules Football for our town team and we are 'the Tigers'.  Here I am getting settled with my sister.

In the morning I had watched my younger brother play.  It was very cold and I am glad mum had my rug cause I was shivering.  It was 2C (35.6 F) overnight and there was frost on the grass.

Then in the afternoon we went back to watch my older brother play and it was a little warmer 12C (53.6 F).

The siren starts the game and I wasn't even scared.

Spectators like to sit in their cars around the oval and beep their horns when their team gets a goal.

My brother is a Ruckman.  He has to jump very high and tap the ball to his team mates.

I have snuggled next to sister to keep warm.

There is lots of running, kicking and handballing.  In our AFL (Australian Football League) which is an Australia wide competition, some footballers run an average of 15 kms (9 miles) during a game.  They are extremely fit.   Our boys aren't quite in that league but they try hard.

This is my brother knocking the ball out to a team mate.

When a player marks (catches) the ball they get a free kick and you must stand back and not tackle them.

We had a fun day and today we played very well and won the game.

Hurray for my brothers.

I can't wait to go again.  Lots of people came and gave me a pat.  I had some treats to eat and spent all day with my family.  What a great Saturday.  See you all soon.
