Merry Christmas and our New Baby

Howdy Mates.

Well, life has changed around our place.  Our Sissy had her baby on Monday 21 December and boy oh boy are we are all thrilled.  Now that's an understatement cause mum has gone coo coo in the head.  Now I know many of you think that's not possible cause she's coo coo already but yep, she is even more so, haha.

A darling GIRL and her name is Evie Mavis (second name after our dear sweet angel Nana, Mum's mum).  Mum cried so much after hearing the news, that I, Stella, ran around the room and rushed outside and didn't come back till she gave me a treat!  My little brother Rory, had to head butt her TWICE in the head to try and knock some sense into her and that's no lie either.

Here is Evie (rhymes with Stevie hehe).

 We are all in love.

So from our family to yours, we want to wish you all a
Merry Christmas and a
New Year filled with peace and love.

Mum has been, how shall we say, lazy slow to blog the last few months, but we want you to know we love you and think of you all even when we are absent.

No worries, and LOVE,
Stella and more slobbery LOVE, Rory

Howdy mates.

We watched movies, did some gamin' and ate like there was no tomorrow.

Hope you are all well mates.
No worries, and slobbery love, Rory and Stella
(who was too shy to hang with the boys, hehe)

Love , just love.

Howdy Mates.  Today we are doing things we love.  Peaceful things, things that relax us and make us feel good.  We want to send all our love and good feelings to Paris.

Rory loves having a sniff in the paddock.

Me, I love checking out the sheep across from our paddock.

We love the flowers in our garden.

and the lemons.

We love Tyler when he comes to stay.

Rory loves drinking from the birdbath.

We love our brothers.

and our sisters.

Rory loves mum.

So in our small part of the world,
love is the thing we love the most.
Love will always be stronger than hate.
Because love brings the world together.

No worries, and LOVE,
Stella and Rory

Rory has a little operation.

Howdy Mates.  Yesterday my little brother had an operation.  I wondered what the heck was going on when mum forgot our breakfast.  I ran to the cupboard, ran to the bowl, over and over but to no avail.  No food.  No water either.  Rory didn't even seem to notice!

Anyhoo, around 8.30 am, mum takes Rory, heaves him into the back of dad's car (which he left home especially for this) and off they go.  Well mates, I gotta tell ya, I went cracker.  I'm never home alone.  I don't like it.  What if they don't ever come back????
Thank dawg, my sissy who has Tyler, brought him over to keep me company.  Cool.

Mum does come back but without Rory.  I again had to go cracker.  What was she thinking???  Leaving my little brother at the Vet????
I grilled her big time.   What were those Vets doing?
When was he coming home?
Was he getting treats there while I'm home starving to death?  Well yes, mum did give me breakfast when she got home but that's not the point.

Anyhoo, my brother had a big sleep there.  While he was sleeping (hey, that would be a good name for a movie, hehehe), they removed a big lump from his foot.  Turns out it was a massive skin flap sort of thingy, probably caused by trauma to his foot from his wonky walking.  Not a bad lump though, thank dawg.

He also had a pedicure cause his nails were pretty darn long and a teeth clean, which were all good.

About 4.00 pm mum brings the poor little man home.  He was still a bit woozy and they had to help him in with a towel under his belly, just like the old days.  He was very sad and couldn't do a thing for himself.  He snoozed for a few hours on his bed.
We managed to get a little food into him, he did his business outside (PHEW) had a little drink, and slept through the night.
This morning he is feeling better, can walk unaided again and had his tablets, no worries.

Yay, I'm glad my little brother's home.

Mum, I told Rory he can sit on the lounge while he watches TV ok?

Yep, life is as it should be.

 We love ya big fella.

Well that's all folks.  Oh yeah.  One more thing.
Dad borrowed our brother's car yesterday so mum could have his.
Yep, that's the day he hits a kangaroo on the way to work.
Luckily Dad is fine, but sadly the Roo died.
The car, well, that will cost a few dollars, but hey, that's life.
Enjoy every day mates.
We love you all to bits and pieces.
No worries, and LOVE,
Stella and Rory

We See Beautiful.

Howdy Mates.  I was having a nice quiet morning home with mum.  Everybuddy else was either at work or Uni so it was just us dogs and mum.  Tyler and Jinx were staying while their mums worked.  All good.  See below, all relaxed and enjoying our wonderful Spring weather.

Tyler always likes to relax outside.

Rory loves his pillow, always near mum.

Jinx, always on the lookout for our sissy Penny.

Tyler and I, sitting next to mum.

All four of us relaxing.

 Me, looking gorgeous hehe.

THE HAIRCUT!
Hey, stop sniffing my bum.

It's just me you nutters. Sheesh.

More exciting news for us too.
Drum roll, please.
  Here's mum and sissy.
Yep, she's having a baby in December.

We see beautiful mates.
We really do.

Take care everybuddy.

A visit to our brother's home.

Howdy Everybuddy.  Today we had a wonderful day and went to visit our brother.  You know, the one who has Lenny the lizard.  He has a new home and a big yard and for the first time I, Rory, and Stella went to play with our cousin Trudi.

Here we come.

Having a good chat and sniff.

 Obligatory photo shoot.

 I climbed some stairs.  Yaahoo.

Hiding so we don't have to go home, hehe.

Thank you Trudi.  We had a fabulous time.

We hope you all enjoyed a wonderful weekend too.
No worries, and slobbery love, Rory and Stella, and Trudi

Stella's Video - I'm cracker.

Howdy Mates.  My sissy filmed a little video of me rolling around like the cracker dog that I am.  I like to give the family some laughs when I can. (Play with sound up cause you can hear mum and sissy laughing hehe).

We had fabulous Spring weather here on the weekend but today is back to cold, brrrrr.  Mum and Dad moved our doghouse back into the sunshine.  In Winter it's kept under the carport for more protection from the rain.

Rory loves his doghouse.

Have a wonderful week mates.
No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

Fathers Day and our cousins' visit.

Howdy Mates.  It was Fathers Day here in Oz yesterday and we had a fabo day.  All our hu-siblings came for breakfast and brought our cousins, Tyler, Jinx and Trudi along too.

Here we are, with mum trying her best to get us all in the photo together.  We like to muck around and confuse her but she finally got what she wanted.

Hurry up Jinx, old girl.

It was really really windy, as you can see from my hair hehe.
I think Rory's slobbery chops were flapping in the wind.

When everybuddy first gets to our house, Rory gets super excited and can be a boofhead.   He has to meet Trudi first cause she is the newest member of our family and he wants to play chasey with her and sniff her.  Unfortunately, when he runs, he falls.  Trudi is quick as a whippet and when Rory realises he can't catch her he loses interest and then we are all fine together.

So after the initial five minutes of us all sniffing and barking (well Rory and I bark, the others are perfect angels!!) we are chilled for the rest of the day.

Also we have a question mates.  We've seen that an Aussie by the name of Jarryd Haynes has joined a football? team in the USA called the San Francisco 49ers.  What we want to know is, does anyone barrack for this team and what are their colours?  We are very proud of him (not that we know a single thing about your game hehe).

Here is our cheeky sissy, found sitting in the sink!!

And one last one.  Here is my little brother and mum.  They kind of look alike don't they, bwahahahaha.

Ok well, that's it from us.
Take care mates and as always.

No worries and love, Stella and Rory

It's been a loooong winter.

Howdy mates.  We have been trying to keep warm but blimey it's been cold over here.  We can't wait for Spring and Summer to come.  Here we are trying to warm up.

Rory in a sun puddle.

Penny in a sun puddle behind the dish rack.

Tyler snuggled under a rug during a sleep over
at our place. (spoilt brat hehe).

Rory and Tyler sharing the big bed.

And me, found the best sun puddle.
Mmmm, nice and warm.

Well mates, we'll keep warm, you keep cool and have a great week.

Bertie's Award for Dad - He thinks he's so good.

Howdy Mates.  Our Dad received an award from Bertie
called the Blogville Darwin-lite Award.  You can check out our entry here.  The basis of our story was that years ago Dad found who he thought to be our sissy Kara (cocker spaniel) down the street from our place, brought her home and then realised it was in fact, Zara, a cocker spaniel from a couple of streets away!!

Anyhoo, because of this little mishap, Dad won Bertie's award.  He was quite proud of himself actually, bragging about being known around the world hehe.

Here I am opening Dad's present for him.
Mmmm, smells like Bertie.

Jeez Stellie, give us a paw will ya.

What's this?

Right, Dad, all opened for ya.

Perfect fit.

Wonder if my little brother realises it has a spaniel on it hehehe.

At least we won't lose Dad when he goes walking!

Bertie and Gail.  Thanks so much.
We had fun remembering our Dad's silly antics and he has a new
T Shirt to wear with pride.

No worries, and slobbery love, Rory and Stella
