Breakfast Time, hurry up mum.

Howdy Everybuddy, how does your day start?  We (well I, Stella) like to wake everybuddy around 6.00 am by scratching and pounding on the laundry our bedroom door.  It's a good time to get up as far as I'm concerned.  You know, the early bird catches the worm, even though I'm not a bird and I don't think I would like to eat worms, ewwwww.

Anyhoo, mum drags her sorry self springs out of bed like the 52 year old she is, lets us out, makes a cuppa and the morning begins.

Some mornings she decides it's photo time.  Here is one of her efforts this morning.  I do not know why I had to sit on a chair.  I felt like a fool and I reckon Rory should have been the one to sit on it.  We were hungry and it made our eyes glow.

Trying out a black and white.

Then it was time for some bitey face action.

Owwwwww, mum, she really bit my face, owwwww, Stellie stop.

Sometimes mum lets me sit on her lap.  She says my bum is bony.

Enough of this foolin' around mum.  I think Rory is hungry!

 Nom, nom, nom.

At last.  We know we have to sit before mum puts our bowls down.
Do you like Rory's bed outside.  Mum's invention when we got a new lounge a while back.

Enjoy your day everybuddy.
No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

  2. Look at those GOOD DOGS!! We have to lay around and WAIT for HER to have at least 2 cups of coffee before we get brekky. Unless, on those wonderful days, we get a walk first!! Love the photo of you on the chair, Stella!!

  3. Hey Stella Down Under,

When you are getting up having brekky, we are all around the supper table and thinking of going to bed for the night, right?
I get just a little confused over all that but I remember someone once told me the Aussies are 12 hours ahead of us!

So, I just had my kibble with a little grated cheese to dress it up and thats it for my day!

    Cheers and hugs,

  5. Hee!Hee! You guys sure do wake your Momma up early! That was quite the bitey face game you two had going on too! Rory must have been some hungry to start gnawing on his own leg! I think that lounge your Momma made is pretty cool too!

  6. We have to wait a bit for our breakfasts too. Mom says it is better for us not to get what we want right away so she can get some other things done first - whatever! We think that is a very cool way for Rory to eat with his dish up nice and high for him.

And then there is Phantom who like to get Mom up several times a night as he thinks the middle of the night is the best time to stay awake:)

  8. After all that I hope you got a little extra breakfast. Can't have Rory eating his own leg. Do you take a nap after breakfast? I do.

  9. WE are early risers too, but My Vickie feeds all of our guests before she feeds me. I don't get it.....It seems unfair....However, I do get the left overs.

  11. We get up just before six, have a Lucky Dog bone and head out for our walk. SHE doesn't have HER much-needed cappuccino until we get back.

Love Rory's bed. And that boy is a real poser when it comes to photos.

  12. We're not quite clear on who has the bony bum, Stella or Rory, but our suggestion is to eat more:) We can tell from your blog posts that you get lots of exercise, so we'd expect you to have nice muscle butts. Maybe it's just your tail bones that your mum is mistaking for your actual bum?

Your outdoor living space is quite lovely. You have a cosy dog house [do you both still fit? at the same time?], a comfy lounge, and both covered and al fresco dining. And sometimes cows to keep you occupied. Can't beat that package!

  27. That is some dog bed!

That cracks me up that you eat off of a chair and you STILL have to bend down to reach your food!

New rule at your house - no picture taking before breakfast so your eyes don't get all weird like that! ;)

  28. Hey, there's no comments about your Mum's age allowed; she's the same age as me and looking mighty youthful to me! And if you have to play cute after you've awakened her to cheer her up, well, at least she's not growling! Hope you're all having a nice Spring, as we head into fall.

  31. Hey there Stella,
You have such a wonderful, happy home. It's so nice to see you and Rory get along so well. Bitey-face games are the best for doggies. How is Penny and Lenny? Maybe sometime you can show us a few pics of them (?) BTW, Rory has wonderful jowls to grab onto.
Please send lotsaluv to your special momma and ((hugs)) to all the animals.
