A walk on the weekend.

Howdy Mates, how ya all going?  We went for a walk on Sunday and we nearly had some blue sky.  Nearly.  Spring is just around the corner for us and we say, thank dog for that.  Here we are doing the usual sit/stay.  Sigh.  It's mum's favourite cause she never thought we would do it.

Here's me on the old tree trunk.  This tree fell down a few years ago and has a hole running right through the middle of it, lengthwise.  It must be good for little creatures to hide in.  Dad put me up on top just so mum could get a photo.  Sigh (again).  See what we have to put up with.

I must admit, I look very regal hehehehe.

Muuuuum, did I hear the crackle of a treat bag????

Rory, wait for me little brother.

This photo mum actually tried to be creative, butt, in some she had the sun behind us and our faces were all dark.  One day, mum says she will get a 'you beaut' camera and try to become a famous photographer!  Well, famous in our family at least hehe.

In these last photos, for some reason the grass has come out all artificial looking.  We don't know why.  This is the beauty we see around us as we walk along the summer track (which is a dirt road near our house).  We feel very lucky indeed.

See ya mates.  Have a wonderful Wednesday.
No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

Wow, the flashy beast follows us everywhere! Can't even have a walkie without the pix flashing. BOL Your area is really nice and I love the big tree trunk. Did you sniffle inside for critter scent? I hope you both got some of those treats.

  8. I wish I was on your walk with you sniffing, log climbing and exploring. We could have had lots of fun, as the area looks great to explore, until I read Daisy's comment above and remembered you have snakes in Australia. We only have snakes in zoos here in New Zealand - my human is terrified of snakes and won't even look at them when they are behind glass.

  9. Hi Stella Down Under!

My Mom knows what your Mom means about not getting the sit-stay. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. You just get prettier every day Stella, do you know that?

  20. Your winter sure looks a lot better than our winters! Why can't we just always have spring and Autumn? Oh, mom made me write that. Why do peeps keep wanting to pose us on trees anyway?

  23. Oh, we think the pictures came out beautifully! :-) especially the one where you thought the sun was behind you - actually, it's backlighting you both really nicely and throwing intersting shadows on the ground next to you - and it's not too dark to see you. We think it's a great, arty shot! :-)

And love the Sit Stay one - Rory, you look so regal! :-) And Stella - love the one of you on the log too. That is one ginormous log!!

    Slobbers,
