Double Dinner and NO BREAKFAST!

Howdy Everybuddy.  Has anybuddy got RSPCA on speed dial?????  This morning our mum says she is NOT giving us any breakfast.  Can you believe it???  That's right.  NO BREAKFAST.  No, we're not going to the Vet.  We are both fit and well.  It started last night and is all mum's fault!

Mum was out walking (without us I might add!).  Shocking I know, but now Rory can't go on big walks she leaves us BOTH home unless she can sneak me out without Rory knowing.  Well, she comes home to dinner being all prepared and in the oven.  Yes, our sissy and brother had organised dinner.  My brother had fed us our dinner early.  Mum comes in, doesn't ask anybuddy if we had been fed, and feeds us again!  Now I ask ya mates.  Who wouldn't scoff down a second meal if it's offered.  I did my usual dance of delight when mum got the bowls out (even though my belly was feeling wobbly) and we chowed down like the troopers we are.

A few minutes later James says he's fed us already and bam, we're called greedy pigs and mum starts stressing about bloat!  Bloat, smoat, we knew to lay on our pillows and let that glorious double feed digest.  Aaaahhh, best feeling EVER.

So this morning she says, NO BREAKFAST!  I said to Rory, there's got to be something to eat in this place and after a quick search, voila, there it was.  Penny's litter tray.  Not cleaned out at this early hour and ripe for the taking.

This is me after mum found me with the evidence of my smelly breakfast fare.

What do ya mean my breath stinks!

 No mum, I didn't eat Penny's poo.

Breakfast.

No Breakfast.

and Rory (who is feeling too weak to wag his tail)

  2. WHAT??????? What is Wrong with having SECONDS??????? We see OUR peeps getting SECONDS ALL the time... Why??? WHY??? WHY are we treated in such a horrid manner. Just beclaws you had SECONDS One day... is NO EXCUSE fur NOT giving you BREAKFAST the NEXT DAY... Didn't you show her the Calendar... and say THAT is YESTERDAY... THIS is TODAY... Get OVER IT WOMAN. FOOD TODAY is NECESSARY.
As fur having the KITTY TREATS... Ask HER... WHO furgot to Remove them from temptation?? WHO left the Treats in the "PAN" fur the POOR STARVING (WEAK) nearly to death members of this household? SO WHO is to BLAME??
SHE is lucky you didn't eat BILBY Poops... our of sheer desperation.
WE are SOOOOOOO sorry that this has occurred. It is a story even MORE hideous than MY Vacula story.
PeeS... Maybe Down Under... the Vaculas are NOT as vicious as they are HERE... OR it May be that we are small enough fur Vacula to consider us to be a TREAT... like those you found in Penny's Pan.

  4. Mom often double feeds us - she forgets whether she has fed us and doesn't want us to go hungry so she feeds us again - not that we ever tell her....we just sit there looking all hungry :)

  19. Not having your morning dinner!!! The cruelty, especially as it was not your fault if your silly family gave you guys two evenng dinner. Why should you suffer for their stupidity?? Me and Nellie would be most upset. Sometimes mummy goes off to work and forgets to give Us our morning dinner, but she makes up for it and gives Us extra evening dinner. Love Nellie and Jasper, the two bestest maremmas in all the land.

  20. I'm sorry, but I'm grinning a little bit at this post, NOT because you were starved, but because from start to finish, this has happened at our house too! I hope your one and only dinner came early! :-)

  21. Guess what!! Me and Nellie had two evening dinners this evening. Mummy was out so daddy fed Us at about 6:30 and didn't tell mummy as he was to busy making qunice jam and cooking a roast pork that he didn't remember to tell mummy that We had been fed. So while daddy was doing some work on the computer, and mummy was making apple sause she thought Me and Nellie looked half starved, so she fed Us again. Triumph to the maremmas and We will most likely get our morning dinner.

  25. Yet again, the disadvantages of living in a single human and no other pets household are brought home to me. Two dinners! Wow! And some cat poop for afters.
Gail tells me that once my predecessor Hamish scored five walks in a single day owing to confusion between her and a lodger about who was responsible for taking him out.
