Spider Web (and a poem for Bertie!)

Howdy Mates, we found this spider web this morning.
Isn't it beautiful.  Have a great weekend all.

The Spider Web
By:  Mary Ann Hoberman

The spider spun a silver web
Above the gate last night
It was round with little spokes
And such a pretty sight
This morning there were drops of dew
Hung on it, one by one;
They changed to diamonds, rubies red.
When they were lit with sun.
A spiders nice to have around
To weave a web so fine
On which to string the drops of dew
That catch the bright sunshine.

No worries, and slobber, Rory and Stella

  21. I'm impressed Carol, that's a beauty. I've been known to capture some good ones myself. It's their pattern and the brilliance of the spider itself I think. Very nice!
