Stinky and slobbery - yeah that's mum.

Howdy mates.  Mum loves to sit at the 'puter most mornings checking out lots of crxp interesting stuff.  We snoopervise when she is checking out all our Blogville furriends and tell her what to write.

While she looks and comments, I Rory, like to rub my head all over her lap, arms and chest making it impossible more entertaining for her to type.  I'm not joking.  I can do it for hours cause I just love having a head massage, especially with ear scritches as well.  Mmmm, mum's dressing gown smells devine.

It also gives me the opportunity to wipe any slobber or eye boogers (ewwwwww) on her dressing gown.  She hates loves the feeling of those cold wet snots on her hehehe.  You'll have to forgive mum's PJs, she's never been known to be a follower of fashion.  Up here in the hills, you wear whatever it takes to keep warm hehe.

Stella lays around waiting to get breakfast.  I know, criminal isn't it, that we have to wait for breakfast.

After my face is clean, I know there is nothing to do but relax and wait for mum to finish.

Can you see my carpet squares? They are rubber backed.
I love them and can walk from the family room to the lounge room without fear of slipping.

See you all soon mates.   Hope your weekend was wonderful.  Mum is feeling extra happy
and we will have some news for you all soon.
No worries, and slobber, Rory and Stella

  3. Hello Friends!! We have a similar thing happen here, and believe me, I'm also NOT a slave to fashion pajamas, and totally agree that it's important to stay warm, and comfy!! And I love the rugs, we have the same thing here at our house too, they work wonderfully!!

    Take care of yourselves!

  4. Oh Rory, I do that too! except I do it all over her leggies when she's wearin' shorts...she screams with glee!!! Oh, Moms just loves that kind of stuffs! And with me, I have this beard that catches all the water when I gets a drink...then I shake my head and gives Ma a 'beard shower' !!! Priceless!
I loves your 'non-slip doggie' squares! That's why Ma has area rugs all overs..I used to slip and slide all overs! Rugs are the bestest for good traction
    Kisses,
    Ruby ♥

  7. Hey Rory & Stella - I love your new header pic! Beautiful! And those carpet squares are SUCH a clever idea. We used runners for Honey - but I wish I had thought of squares too. Your humans are very smart! ;-)

I had to laugh about your habit of cleaning your face on your Mum's dressing gown... yup, Honey used to do that to me too. Used to drive me mad sometimes - she especially liked to do it if we were out walking and it rained - she hated getting her face wet and would run it on my trousers and just leave drool slime all over me! :-)

  18. OMD Rory - you use your mum like a "handy-wipe"!!! BOL!! My mum would not like that at all. Yep the underfloor heating was VERY nice - but you know it is VERY expensive to run ... its on all winter - 24/7 - because it costs too much to switch it on and off so it's just left on for months. It was nice though because it is very cold at the base of the snow mountains. Colder than the hills even. We had our birdbath freeze every night.

Anywho - I'm so happy you got your own stepping mats inside - what a great idea. I don't like waiting for breakfast either - I usually help my peeps with theirs except when mum has a protein shake - yukkers!
