Favouritism - Totally Unfair

Mum likes to have a cuppa in the evening.  She bought this new cup and was all ready to watch the Cricket on TV.

She sits herself down, cuppa in hand, all ready for the game.
I thought it would be fun to sit with her too.
What do ya mean you can't see the TV?
Sheesh, some people are hard to please.
You'd think she would enjoy my company.

Then Stellie sits next to mum while she's on the 'puter.  I don't hear any complaints then.  Unfair I say, totally unfair.
I hope there is no favouritism at your place mates.

No worries, and slobbery love, Rory (mum's favourite) and Stellie (her first favourite hehehe).

BOL - well Rory, perhaps if you adopted the same pose as Stella, the complaints would be a little less!!! But then again, much as I love the cricket, I reckon seeing you would be equal to a googly...

Now mates, I am hoping you will help with a decision I am trying to make this week... Hope you'll put in your paw's worth. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  3. It truly DOES seem UNFAIR to US, Mate... You hadn't Rolled in somethingy DELIGHTFUL had you? Sometimes the peeps don't like to share OUR Aroma...
If NOT... it DOES appear to be a case of Favoritism to us...
Do you need an Appointment with Ernie the Attorney???

  5. We don't know why people would want to look at the TV when they could see our cute faces instead!

  6. Well Rory....Dad has that same problem here with Shadow, cause she has to sit in front of Dad, not beside him!

Now Rory, how about sitting on Mum's lap so she can see the TV.

  9. Rory, you have got to teach us how to give that look! It's priceless!! I (Wally) personally don't think there is any favouritism in our house, butt there are lap HOGS! Sammy always insists on sitting on mom's lap. Even if I get in there before him, he will push me off and take my spot!

  10. Too bad Rory. For once, I am seeing some advantages to being an only pup. No competition for space on Gail's lap.
    Toodle pip!

  15. It's a special technique to watch tv through a dog. your mom can use the triangle-view straight through the ellbows of a dog and the "heart"-view through the hind paws... it's easy to learn, just a question or the perspective :o)

  16. Oh Rory I understand - in our house the problem is seven dogs can't all get on the same lap and the Affens being smallest are the favourites :-( Just not fair - Woofs and licks from Magic xx

  20. Fudge is my lap dog but he won't sit still for long and he weighs a ton and is so clumsy. He knocks over cups and glasses, so watch out.

  21. Monty lately tries to sit in our lap at the computer - he's a bit too big for that. No worries - I think you are both her favorite!
