Hey Stella, come and have a look at this. Guide Dog puppies. Aren't they cute? Well they are kinda cute but not as cute as a spaniel pup of course. Why are they on television Rory? They are going to be Guide Dogs. They're looking for puppy trainers to care for these pups for 12 months and train them and stuffs. I reckon we could do that Stellie. Hey yeah, I reckon we could do it too. I could teach those pups plenty. How to tap on the door in the morning to get let out, how to get up on the dining table and clean up crumbs when lazy people leave their chairs out, you know, good stuff.
Yeah, I could teach them how to dig holes, chew up stuffies, slobber on bench tops and everyone's clothes.
Can we have this one?
Hey, this really sounds like a good idea. Let's go ask mum.
Sorry Rory, it was a great idea. Mum says that's not quite what they need to learn. I suppose mum does look a little worn out lately. I don't know why. Anyone would think she is busy or something. Oh well, good luck to the little cutie pies. We wish you good luck with your training and your forever homes. You have the ability to change someone's life immensely. Yeah, good luck little pups. You certainly are special.
Stellie, I hear a hole calling me, hehehe. I'm right behind you buddy.
No worries, and slobber Rory and Stella
It's a great idea -- except for the climbing on tables and the hole digging... Well, have fun anyway!

Terrific idea guys, but yeah, I don't think that's what they have in mind! LOL! Have fun digging that hole1 :)
ReplyDeleteAlas, the old traditions like climbing on tables and digging holes in the middle of the lawn are dying out - so sad...
ReplyDeleteThose puppies are missing out on a good education!
Dip Bridge and Elliot x
Great idea guys but when you have taught it to dig holes, slobber and bury bones etc. it might want to stay with you instead of moving out, and.... like I said GREAT IDEA! He he he
ReplyDeleteThose guide dogs do a fantastic job!
Deccy x
I am sure that you can convince her. Give her the doggie eyes a few more times!
ReplyDeleteWells nows, as a fellow hole digger and table climber I thinks it's a wonderful idea!!!! What dog wouldn't wanna learn hows to do dat stuffs? It's fun and and keeps you in tip top shape which is very important to guides peoples.
ReplyDeleteBut then da hoomans always has to go burstin' our bubbles.

ReplyDeleteSorry that your mum put her paw down about the puppy. I think it would have been GRRRREAT.
ReplyDeleteYou could even have taught it how to ... TREAT a stuffie. hehehehe
LOL I cant imagine why your mom said no! It was very sweet of yall to try and help them out, there is no way Haylie could tech them anything good :)

I am confused as to why your mum doesn't think that puppies don't need to learn those things. And you to obviously would be the BEST teachers ever. Don't give up keep working on her. She can't hold out forever.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
A well rounded puppy education includes many things!
ReplyDeleteGuide dog pups need to learn all kinds of stuff. I think your ideas are good ones too!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots
Mitch
BOL - you two just cracked me up :)
ReplyDeleteStewey
It really was a good ideal, and you two have passed all your classes so far, maybe when you two finish all of your classes, you could ask her again. Well it's worth a try. BOL
ReplyDeleteThe silvers and more

Two of the coons come in spite of Zoie being there b/c they have been fed by me all their lives and probably are very poor hunters!! My oldest one just had her babies for this year. I don't know how many yet b/c they are too young for her to bring to show me. She will do that in about 3 weeks.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! But maybe not right now!LOL
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend

The hard part is you have to give the pups back! You don't get to keep them.
ReplyDeleteNubbin wiggles,
Oskar
I think it is a worthy cause and you should get a puppy. I bet it is important to learn what Not to do as well as what to do.
ReplyDeleteI think you would be great teachers.
