Help yourself to a lolly.

Howdy Mates.  Our sissy was given some lollies by a friend.  We thought they were fabo.  Does everybuddy remember Scooby-Doo?  Mum says when she was a little girl, way back in the olden days, there were similar lollies that said things like, "I love you", "Be mine" and stuffs like that.  Help yourself to some but don't forget to clean your teeth afterwards.

It's been wet and bloomin' cold.  Here we are walking along the summer track which should now be called the mud track.   Looks like I'm doing a pawstand hehe.

Mum says we're nuts to drink water from the puddles but we don't care.

We saw some kangaroo footprints the other day.  These pictures are from quite a while ago.  Mum never had her camera when we saw the recent footprints of the kangaroo and they were much clearer than these.  We actually see kangaroos on our walks sometimes but they always hop away very fast.  You would be amazed at the distance they cover and how fast they go when you see them up close.  We love our kangaroos.

When it's cold, Penny loves to curl up on the kids' beds.
Sometimes she sleeps there all day.

We have our own beds.  Mum says no dogs on the bed!  Humph.
Totally unfair we say.  Stellie can be a bit farty and me, well,
I have to admit, I fart quite a lot hehe, butt, is that a reason to ban us from the bed??

Keep warm or keep cool wherever you may be mates.
Have a good weekend.
No worries, and slobber, Rory and Stella

  1. I still love Scooby-Doo!! And Mud or not, what a fun walk! I think the mud helps to see what you've missed--We've never seen a kangaroo on a walk before! :-)!!!

  2. LOL groovy sweets. We aren't allowed to drink from puddles as we might get the sickies. Wow we have never seen a roo but I'd bet I'd chase it. Have a super Saturday.

  6. RORY...it really DOES look like you were doing a PAW Stand!!

Mom says she remembers the Scooby Doo thingys... VERY WELL.

WOW a Kanga Track!! How big was it??
NO WORRIES... PUDDLE Water is the BEST... OH that FLAVOR.

We Agree about the farts thingy... Heck Sakes... PEEPS do WAY more of that than WE do.. So Why NOT allow you in the bed... No Worries though... you DO have nice soft places to sleep.

  7. Hi Stella and Rory...kangaroos???!!!...ah...my peeps have been trying out some (raw) kangaroo meat on us recently. We've been alternating between raw bison and kangaroo meat. Our vet and the people who sell us our food say that kangaroo is leaner than bison and way cheaper so that's why we're getting it. It's kind of tasty.

Hey there doglets - you're looking in the pink these days!! BOL.... I am a TOTAL Scooby fan and would love some of these fizzies.

Is it the farts? Is it the mud? Is it the fact that between you there'd be no bed left for hoomans????

Mumbai just got hit by monsoon - raining almost non stop all week and bit cooler temps. Writing and posting a piccie of it on my Sunday Post if you'd like to see what hot rain is like!! (It's not really hot - actually it's rather cold and yukky like rain anywhere, but when it stops, it's hot.)

What a silly comment to leave ya, but you'll work it out, being the clever canines you are! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xx

  10. We bet those lollies are delish. Did you get to taste them too?

It must be so much fun to see the kangaroos hopping around - looks like Rory was practicing a kangaroo hop too:)

    Happy weekend.

  13. SHE knows about Scooby, but not the lollies.

It's been COLD here, too. Roxy is hogging our 2-bar heater but Bella and I don't mind 'cause we've got such thick coats.

We think there is definitely something wrong with a cat on the big bed BUT not dogs!

    Keep warm.

  15. I love drinking from puddles also. That's good drinking if you ask me. I LOVE those Scooby treats. Scooby-Do was my MOM's favorite childhood cartoon. She still loves it to this day.

  16. I do like the look of the Scooby sweets, they're like Lovehearts with all the soppy words on, you can still buy them here in the UK.
Have to say Annie does get on our bed but she not too bad at that fartin' game :-)

  17. Those look like good treats. Farts keep you out of the bed? I think my mom does not know about that or else Stanley and dad would be sleeping on the couch!

    Love ya lots♥

  19. Baby Brutus has a big blanket, which he used with his mom and sister, and a baby fleece blanket. He's too little to go upstairs, but I don't let dogs upstairs anyway. I'm mean like that. Anyway, you guys and Penny all have very nice beds, and I'm sure you're happier having your own than being forced to share with wiggly humans who get cranky when they think they're being crowded, right?

  20. Oh ya, I remember Scooby-Doo and the other candies, um, I mean lollies! Stinky pups or not, everybody is allowed on the bed at our house. Little blind and deaf Brook will stand beside the bed and whine so she sometimes gets a helping hand. Stay warm down there. We've got nice toasty warm summery temperatures if you want to come and visit!!

    You had an interesting walkie!

  23. The collies are allowed on my bed, but you have some very nice dog beds if your own! So I'm guessing you don't mind too much! :)

  24. The candies look like they might be very tasty. It DOES look like you are doing a handstand in that mud (what a mess it would make of my white coat). Do you get excited when you see kangaroos and want to run with them? I think it might be fun. We are awfully jealous of your rains...here we are in a drought.

  25. That is so neat that you see kangaroos randomly! What a different life, we have to go to the zoo to see them :-) Thanks for the candy!

  26. That's awesome that you see kangaroos! We see deer but have never seen a kangaroo. (Momma says we don't have kangaroos here. Do you think you could send some over?)
