Dog School - You guessed it.

Howdy Everybuddy, today we graduated again.  I know we've said it before, but Mum wants to shout it all across the world.  She is very proud of us and we have passed from Grade 3 to Grade 4.

Now Grade 4 is going to be tougher for sure.  The Instructor said we must polish up our positioning along with Mum and Dad and their signals and stuffs.  We'll leave all that business to them.  We just want the treats that we get especially the cheese and fritz.  Mmmmm totally yummers.

Our dog school goes from Grade 1 through to Grade 6 so we are now half way there.  It has been heaps fun and we love to meet the other dogs and people even though sometimes Stellie gets a little nervous.  Once she has a few pats, a few sniffs and a few treats we are ready to learn.  Mum wants to let everyone know, we are not perfect by a long shot and I agree.  Butt, we are all having fun, there is no pressure and our instructors are caring and helpful. Mum and Dad always have a laugh and that makes us relax too.

Stellie received the Most Improved.
We think Dad helped a lot with that, for sure.

I received my very first award.  I was the Happiest Worker.  I have to admit I do love all the attention I get.

My Instructor knows me well now and when I start to get tired at the end of the lesson this is what I do (except I don't have my tug toy of course hehe).

I can't help it.  When Mum tells me to drop I do but then I roll over, side to side, waving my legs in the air.  My Instructor laughs and tells me, that's ok, lesson is nearly over and I can have a rest if I want.  See, like I said, no pressure.

Well that's it for now friends.  We hope your weekend has been as fine as ours has.  Our brother James won his football game, our weather was pretty good for this time of the year, The Adelaide Crows won their football game (you beauty), we graduated and best of all, Sunday night for tea we had takeaway.  Pizza.  Mmmmmm.  See ya all soon.

No worries, and slobber Rory, and love, Stella

P.S.  Yesterday we went to visit our Vet for a weigh in.  Rory weighed 69 kgs (152 lbs, nearly 10 months old) and and I was 12 kg (26 lbs, nearly 12 months old).   x x

  2. Hi guys, congrats on your graduation..... our skools work different - ours only goes to Grade 4 - then you are trialling and stuffs. I'm still in 3 and missed the last two weeks because of my peeps' hollingdays and my boot-camp at uncies. I like grade 3 and mum says I'm needing more practice before I can think about Grade 4.

The training treats I get on skool days are the yummers best too!

  27. Oh Stella and Rory – your doggie school sounds wonderful! :-) So nice to be somewhere where everybody is very understanding and there is no pressure. And I love the way they give you all those little extra "awards" for different achievements! :-)

And I do think your human has every right to feel proud! It's amazing what she has achieved with BOTH of you and in such a short time too – look, you're already halfway through the school grades! :-) No doggie is ever perfect but it's wonderful that your human is helping you be the best that you can be. I'm looking forward to finding out more about the sort of things you will do in your next class – what sort of new challenges still give you! :-)

    Slobbers,
    Honey the Great Dane

  29. Oh wow, Stella and Rory - you must have trained your humans so well!

    I am very impressed.

I'd love to be able to write that Zebby Cat is impressed only, you know, he's a cat. Instead I can report that Zeb is very busy snoring as he soaks up the warmth from the heater. I hope Penny is more responsive to your achievements.

Sending care and huggles to you both and an extra huggle snuggled in for Carol,
