Bertie Boffin's Blogville Darwin-lite Award

Howdy mates.  We are here to offer up our Dad as a candidate for Bertie Boffin's Blogville Darwin-lite award.

Many years ago when all the hu-siblings were young and before our time, our family had a wonderful cocker spaniel called Kara.   Well one day, Dad left home to go walking.  He is around the corner from our place and sees Kara ahead of him.  He is surprised and wonders how she got out.  He calls her and she comes running up but her face looks a bit fluffy.  He thinks it's like that from squeezing through the fence and escaping.

Well he drags her all the way home and pushes her through the gate cause she didn't want to come in.   He comes in to tell mum and that is when the kids see TWO, NOT ONE, BUT TWO, golden cocker spaniels in the yard.  WTH?    

Bwahahahahahaha.  Our dad had bought home the WRONG DOG!!  Now you'd think he would know his OWN DOG and the kids and mum knew STRAIGHT AWAY, that it wasn't Kara cause our dog had red hair on her head and blonde ears whereas this cocker had blonde hair on her head and red ears!   What a crack up.  To make it even more funny, the dog Dad found was called Zara!   

We have never let our Dad forget it.  He still claims she looked the same as Kara.   Bwahahahaha.  We did find her owner, she was a rescue dog and had escaped from her new home.

PRIZES AND TYLER'S 3RD BIRTHDAY

Howdy Everybuddy, we were lucky enough to win some prizes when two of our mates had competitions.

The first was from Dougall and Floyd.  We had to guess Dougall's weight.  If you don't know Dougall and Floyd pop on over and say hello.  They are Aussie's too!

A tiger.  Yay our local footy club is called the Tigers.

Mmmmm, Roo bites.  They were totally yummy.

Butt, first we had to get stuck into the chewy.

Mum cut it into half.  We have to share.

Triple tug action.

A few days later, the Postman, who loves us dearly cause we always let mum know he is here, hehehe, brought another parcel.

 This was from our mate Garth Riley who lives in Richmond, Virginia, for his Silly Photo contest. These gifts were handmade by Garth's mum and they are amazing.  We will hang them with pride on our Christmas tree.

this is my silly photo.  I am relaxing at football.  I was sound asleep meditating for maximum enjoyment.

TYLER'S 3RD BIRTHDAY!!

He's our sissy's dog and he comes to visit a lot and 

we love him heaps

Happy Birthday Tyler.

 He gets to come walking with us when his mum is away working.

He has always looked after us, 

especially when we were just little pups.

It could be a tiring job!

 Partners in crime, hehehe.

POTP, Awards, Competitions and a New Friend.

Hi Everybuddy, first off today we want to send our good friend Jake get well wishes.  He had major surgery and has just come home so can everyone please visit and give him the POTP so he gets well soon.  Thanks mates.

Next off, our friend Milo has a new baby brother called Jet who is a little black lab and we say, welcome to Blogville little man.  He is a super sweetie for sure.

Now we must thank Posie (or P-dorg) for awarding us the Liebster Award.  Thanks P-dorg, we think you are special too.  We only met a short time ago but love Posie's blog cause she gives us a smile everytime we visit.

On Wednesday we had a special delivery from Mr Postman.  It was from our friend Rubie.

I (Stella) won her birthday competition (along with others) called Partners n Pals where we had to send in a photo to compare ourselves with something similar.

Nicknames for Sarge and Photos for Mr Frankie

Hi Everybuddy, we're entering Sarge's great new competition.

Here are the rules:

1. Sometime between May 11^th and end of the day on May 18^th, create a post on your own blog where you list all of the nicknames you’ve been called by your peeps.
2. Invite your furiends to comment with their own vote for his/her favorite of your nicknames.  For the following week, your peeps all have to call you ONLY BY YOUR WINNING NICKNAME!  BOL

One last thing, this is our 100th post.  Dad still finds it amazing that we have posted so much twaddle amazing stories and he is jealous thrilled we have so many new friends.

Hi Everybuddy, we've been tagged.  What, like those cows Stellie?

 No little brother, its a different sort of tag.  This is like a game.  

 Ok that sounds like fun then.  Who tagged us Stellie?  It was Bart and Ruby at Rottrover and Rubie so here we go.  Where are we going Stellie?  Nowhere Rory.  Just listen up and answer when I tell you to ok?  Ok Stellie.

S - Bossy, cracker, cute, funny, fiesty (but only with Rory and Tyler), sock thief and foodaholic.
R - Big, slow, cuddly, hungry, sleepy, comical and of course, handsome. 
 
2.  What keeps you up at night?

S - The peeps watching TV.
R - Stella, hogging my pillows.

3.  Who would you like to be?

S - I like being me, but for one day I would like to be Miss Asta cause she is so glamorous and lives in an amazing place called Boo da Pest.
R - I like being me too and I couldn't be anyone else cause I would miss my family too much.

4.  What are you wearing right now?

S - Just my furs, red and fluffy.
R - Just my blue coat and hidden underneath is my micro chip.

5.  What scares you?

S - Sometimes people I don't know but mum just laughs at me and calls me a sooky la la.  Then I know its not worth being scared and am happy to say hello.

S  &  R - Meeting new friends and not having enough time to comment.

S  &  R -  Mango Minster 2012 of course.  Who hasn't been there in the last week!

8.  What is the one thing you would change about yourself?

S - Ok don't tell anyone, but I have a fluffy bottom so I would like to change it.  PLEASE don't tell anyone I said that ok?

R - I'd like to be more agile getting in and out of the car.  Fluffy bottom hehehehehehehe.

9.  Slankets (or snuggies as we call them in Oz)

      - Definitely NO.

Also today is my big brother Paul's birthday.  He is 25 and mum says she can't believe it.   Here he is with our angel Nana when he was about two weeks old. Happy Birthday Paul.  Love you heaps.

Today is also a very special day because it is two years since our Nana passed away.  It is a huge mixture of emotions for Mum.   This date of 22 November holds the memories of giving birth to a Son and also of losing a dear sweet mother.
