Howdy Everybuddy, today we're joining in with our mates Benny and Lily to have a Hug Party.  Mum went searching through the archives for photos of us enjoying a hug with our family and came up with some wonderful memories.  Hope you enjoy them and don't forget - hug someone you love today.  It's the best.

Wednesday, Just so you nose we care.

Howdy Mates, you nose we are thinking of everybuddy involved with big storm Sandy.    We're waiting to hear from our mates so we nose that you are all ok.  Hope your power is back on real soon.

Here's a few photos of our garden.  Mum is amazed she has flowers at all cause Rory and I sorta like to eat plants and move them to other places.  Sometimes, it makes her go coo coo in the head, hehehe.

Just a couple of little friends in the garden.

A seat in the shade.
This is a Bay Leaf tree which gives us heaps of beautiful shade.

Our Angel brother Brucey, sends mum a flower every
anniversay of his going to the Rainbow Bridge to make her smile.

Mum planted this climbing rose in the worst possible spot
(or so she was told) and it has thrived and the smell of the little pink roses is wonderful.

Mum felt eyes boring into her!
Muuuuuuuuuum, what're you doing down there?

We call these little flowers Seaside Daisies and they self seed.  They have started to grow on the wall of the old oven that used to be in the old cottage that was here.

One plant that even mum has success with.
This one's a bit puny but we tried to prune it too.
Lovely smelling lavendar.

My big brother's toys from when he was a little fella.

We put the top on our little gazebo.  A few years ago when we first got it, it had sides and everything to shade everybuddy but we felt kinda hungry and chewed it to bits and pieces.  Yes you guess it.  Mum went coo coo again.  Gosh she's funny.

Our little house is back in the Summer position.

And last, our pink geraniums.  Very hardy plant.  It must be cause we have tried our best to 'prune' it but it keeps on growing.

Take care mates.   You're in our thoughts.
No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

So, as embarrassing as this is, we will do anything to try and win a prize (well almost anything).

Flarsey -  (Dad's favourite, a combination of fluffy and arsx)
Stripe -  (From Gremlins, for when I'm being particularly naughty)
Turdie -  (must be a favourite cause everyone calls me this)
Smellie Bellie -  (as if, we all know girls do not fart)
S  T  E  L  L  A  ! ! ! -   (you know, like in the movie, especially used when I steal socks, remote controls etc).

Now for Rory.

Rory:

Snorey Rory (self explanatory)
Mr Plonkey (cause I am a slow mover at times)
Little Man (mum's special name, cause I am her favourite hehe)
Ror Ha (Dad's nickname for me, makes me sound like a cowboy)
Lard Arsx (Another of Dad's gems)

Well, there you have them.  Choose which one you like and let us know in the comments.

We also have some photos from Dog Obedience of our new friend, little Cedric (we hope we have that right).  He is a super little fella full of spirit and cheekiness.

Abby Travels the Ghan

Hello Everybuddy, today Lisa arrived home from work and showed us some photos she and Abby took on their trip on the Ghan.  Abby is flying back to Merry Lands after her whirlwind tour.  She visited Alice Springs, Katherine, Darwin and Sydney.

 All Aboard!!

I'm ready Lisa.

First stop was Alice Springs, right in the middle of Australia.

Heavitree Gap, Alice Springs  (Northern Territory)

During our stop in Alice, we went on a camel ride. Here's Lisa and some camel friends.

Can you pick Abby?  She is the first shadow.

Next up, we went to visit some of the locals at the Desert Park.

Note the vulture, he knows how to tap a stone on the egg to crack it open, even if he's never seen another bird do it.  Just amazing.

Too hot for much jumping today.

Dust storm coming! Time to get back on the train.

Finke River, Northern Territory. It's nearly always dry. If you have seen it flowing three times, you are a Northern Territory local!
Lisa had to work too!

Lounge car, the Ghan

Morning tea, yummers.

Dining Car.

The next morning we arrived in Katherine, about 400kms south of Darwin. We went on a boat cruise through the Katherine Gorges.

On the rocks you can see Aboriginal artwork. These handprints were made thousands of years ago!

We finally arrived that night in Darwin. This is the Elizabeth River, which the Ghan crosses about 20 minutes before arriving in Darwin. If you look closely, you can see the buildings of Darwin on the horizon.

Before Abby had to fly home, we stopped in Sydney. We went to Taronga Park Zoo first, you have to take a cable car up the hill to get there.

The giraffes have the best views in the city!

Sightseeing around Sydney

Look closely at the bottom of the arch, you can see people climbing the bridge. You have the most amazing view from the top!

Goodbye Sydney!

Hey, who's that at the door Mum?

Jed, it's me, I've been Down Under hehehe.

Glad to have you back sis.

Till we meet again,
No worries, and love,
Stella and Rory
Jed and Abby

P.S. Lisa had a wonderful surprise for her birthday.
Her good friend Josh, painted a picture of
our angel brother Oscar for her.
Because she is a huge Dr Who fan,
Oscar is wearing a Fez.
Fezzes are cool!
