Sunday Walks

Hi Everybuddy, today my mum thought she would share where I will soon be going walking.  Mum and Dad walk every day but at the moment they say it is still too far for my little legs.  I can't wait to join them.  They have taken some photos to show me how far it will be.  I can't wait to go.

This is my Dad.  He walks fast.

Some parts are really muddy and some people like to drive their four wheel drives up and down, for fun.   Mum thinks walking is more fun than that.

This is stone man.  Mum and Dad made him about six years ago on a stump alongside the track.  A few weeks ago someone broke him and threw away the stones, so this is the new stone man.  He is a quiet fellow.

Hello Maggie.

I think Lucille would love to meet these sheep, hehehe.

Well that's about all.  Oh except while mum was making this lovely blog for me to show you, I was having a lovely chew on her new thongs (or flip flops).

I very nearly had to ring Aunty Abby and Uncle Jed for some legal advice.  Mum says luckily I am innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Sorry Mum.  It was fun though, hehehe.

Have a great day.

No worries, and love, Stella

  1. Hi Stella, I always deny everything too!!! That looks like a great walk, my mum hopes the mud will not be an issue. She is curious as to where you actually live..... and she is jealous it is not in the city!!

  2. Miss Stella,
Your humans are correct that your little legs are still growing and so you need to be careful about long rough and tumble walkies. Looks like you had your own entertainments whilst they were gone.

  3. You know Stella...I am REALLY beginning to LOVE your blog! What pretty countryside you live in. No wonder you can't wait to explore it. Your trees are picturesque and the grass so green. I so wish I could join you.
Carol - you certainly are drawing in your readers with your delightful posts! Congratulations. Give that sweetpea a hug from all of us.

  4. Oh STELLA... that is gonna be a SUPER walkie place. It is good that your mom put up pics so that you can look everythingy over and be FAMILIAR with the area... before you are big enough to actually go.
Now about that flip thong that seems to have BROKEN.. ALL on its OWN... I like my standard Shoe PUN... fur explainin thingys like this...
Obviously it was SHODdy Workmanship.. Your mom should be very VERY glad that it didn't BREAK while she was out Walking about..
I'm just sayin... NO Worries Girrrrl..

  5. Hi Stella, that does look like a great walk although it might be a little too far for your legs right now. I bet that my cart could go right through those muddy parts although my dad would worry about the ruts in the road. Silly dad. With four of us in the house here, it's easier to blame one of the other furry kids for boo-boo's :)

  13. Auntie Abby says that not only are you innocent until proven guilty, but you are still too young to be held legally responsible for your actions. You have to be at least 7 in human years, so that's at least 12 months in cocker spaniel years :) Well, maybe you can get away with stuff for at least 6 months. And tell your mum that it's contributory negligence when she leaves stuff where you can reach it. In fact, at your tender age it's contributing to the delinquency of a minor. We were glad to see you went after a flip flop shoe; in the U.S., a thong is a skimpy form of ladies' underdrawers.

You have a beautiful place to walk. What kind of trees are those, with the gorgeous light bark? Do you have koalas in your trees? Hope the new stone man lasts a long time and the little thugs that spoiled the last one don't hurt this one.

    Slurps & kisses,
    Uncle Jed & Auntie Abby

and Fourth.....Lucky lucky you. You are gonna have the coolest places to hike when your legs get bigger. I love the picture tour we got of where you will get to go.
And Fifth, I love the rock man and I am sorry that someone broke the first rock man but glad your family made a second rock man and I hope he lives a long long time and you should mark him every time you go by so everyone knows he is YOur Rock Man.
