Hi Everybuddy, on Sunday I went on a pretty big walk, but Mum and Dad were very careful and I was off lead the whole time. I just plonked along after Stella and stopped whenever I wanted to. It was heaps fun. I only walked halfway and then my brother picked me up in his car.
Come on Mum and Dad, hurry up.
If you look at the undergrowth along the track
you will notice how dry everything is by the end of Summer.
Notice the manky big puddle on the right.
I ran through it a couple of walks ago.
I was stinky and slimy. Bath time? You betcha.
Nearly at the end.
Doesn't matter where you go, there's always someone
who doesn't care and litters. Grrrrr.
More dry paddocks.
After Rory went home, on we walked.
Oh, wondering why I am on lead now?
Sorry, couldn't help myself.
Had to have a quick roll in some horse poo. Mmmm.
Can somebody please help me?
I'm supposed to be a mascot.
Eewwwww. Rory!!!!!!!
See ya everybuddy.
No worries, and slobber (hehehe)
Rory and Stella
Sounds like a great walk. But Rory, that poor mascot! Eeewwwww!! LOL!
ReplyDeleteYour summer walks look a lot like ours - slow and steady and any puddle is a welcome relief!
ReplyDeleteSam
The walk looks like lots of fun! I can see how dry it is, but it sure looks warm and sunny! We get very upset by people who litter, too. It's awful!
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
Wonderful Walk... esp the Poo Pawt... I'm just sayin.
ReplyDeleteRory.. were you there when the mascot's head exploded? I'll bet THAT was Scary. I do NOT understand how it could have happened. DO YOU???
Off leash walks are the BEST! Litter IS NOT! I like your paw prints in the dirt.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
good job walkies off lead! it's hard to convince your hooman bean to go hands-free! except ahhh... umm. woo might want to skip the stinky puddles and poo. but guess that's funballs!
ReplyDeletejust sayin.
tula
Hi Stella Down Under!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very nice kind of walkies to me, and especially with some fragrant things to roll in.
Your little mascot needs to find someone who is handy with a needle and thread. Like maybe your Mom!
Kisses,
Stella Up Over!
I hope you did not make any attempt to run through the big and manky puddle, did you?
ReplyDeleteLove,
Homer
Hhhhmmmm.... the rolling in stinky stuff I never understood about poochies. Then you guys want to come and cuddle which gets it on us!
ReplyDeleteYour walk looked so fine. It looks a lot like California in August. We dislike litter bugs too!
Thanks for taking us on your walk we enjoyed it, looks very dry,Oh Stella rolling in the poo is the best we think BOL. Poor mascot a couple of stitches will fix him right up.
ReplyDeleteThe silvers and more
Yes, it was fun to go with you two on your walk!! We never got away from the house but I don't think Zoie minds at all. She runs and runs in our yard and we have a pretty big one!!l Thanks for taking us along with you!!
ReplyDeleteRory how come you only went on half the walk?
ReplyDeleteLooks like it was hot hot hot!
Love those manky puddles. By contrast we're lush green because of all the rain....supposed to be showers all week....strange.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Wait, it's just dawned us that's not a hole in Mascot....It's Rory's slobber BOL........
ReplyDeleteThe silvers and more
Wow, what a pawesome long walkie! Love the pix of those tracks in the mud. Boy that's some mondo slobber on that stuffie! BOL
ReplyDeleteGrr and Woof,
Sarge, COP
How we wish we could get an off leash walk, but Mom says that will never happen:( Great place to walk, hope a bath wasn't needed, Rory.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
That looks like a great walk. Dry though, compared to Scotland!
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.

ReplyDeleteSlobbers
You guys are so lucky to be off-leash! I sure wish I could be!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots,
Mitch
Rory looks SO tall in those photos. It looks like a wonderful walk, made even better by the manky puddle and the horse poo for the dogs!
ReplyDeleteHmm, "end of summer" - it's hard to imagine that we're really on opposite parts of the globe but I guess that we are!
Imagine - slobbering on a "Crows" Teddy!!! RORY!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat walk, don't you kinda wish that we had green rolling hills like in Ireland / Scotland!
Tail Wuggles, Rubie and her mum xx
Good thing Rory has taxi service at his command for these hot walks. And a nice mum who will run his teddy through the washing machine. Stella, you have real stamina - and chutzpah, to roll in horse poop even when your pawrents have you on your walking string.
ReplyDeleteJed & Abby
Looks like you had a wonderful place to have a walk!
ReplyDeleteStill can't get over how big Rory is compared to Stella!
Stewey
We love to walk down our dirt road too, we find lots of deer pooh to eat, yum!
ReplyDeleteThe White Dog Army loves to do manuevers down lanes like that...and your end of summer dryness looks alot like the American SouthWest. Poor Teddy has quite a head injury.
ReplyDeleteOooh your bear looks a bit like my David.. hehe! It's good you have a servant to pick you up from your walk Rory! Deccy x
ReplyDeleteHehehehWowy, that is some slobbew on poow beaws head..I guess he'll need a baf too. That walk looked lovely, sowwy about the dwyness and the stoopid hoomins who mess up evewy bootiful place wif theiw littew

Slobbers,

You and Stella are so lucky to have a place you can go on off leash walkies! What fun! How come you had to go slow? No matter. Guess y'all didn't want to miss anything :D
ReplyDeleteWaggin at ya,
Roo
It's fun to go on a walk, especially when someone is waiting with the car so you can have a ride back when you're tired! We're approaching the end of winter here, although we have not really suffered this year. Hope you get plenty of rain soon! That's what always happens to us in autumn.
ReplyDeleteI hope the rain comes soon, but that it doesn't flood!
ReplyDeleteNubbin wiggles,
Oskar
Fresh warm horse poo...delightful!...mascot looks edible? xx
ReplyDeleteOff lead walks are the best.
ReplyDeleteBut could you please explain what you mean by a 'dry' landscape? Those of us who have never been out of Scotland (well apart from the occasional venture into Northern England) don't quite understand the concept.....
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
I am trying and trying to get that 2 WV off my blog!!! The settings say it is off BUT IT IS OFF!!!!! We are trying every night!!! Trying so hard for all of my friends!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWish I could go for a walk with you !!! hehe
ReplyDeleteOff-leash walks are my favorite !
Loved the pictures!
Lincoln
How fabulous, I never get off-leash walkies. Enjoy your pleasant weather mates!
ReplyDeleteRA
Hey there Stella, Rory and C,
ReplyDeleteYou are right, it sure looks like a tinder box ready for a match. I didn't realise that it gets so dry where you live. Are you likely to get any more rain this year? Wow! Looks like you enjoyed your walk though. Remember, the more enjoyment - the more slobber! BTW, I loved your Valentine's post.
Sending lotsaluv to you all
MAXMOM IN SOUTH AFRICA
(Could I adopt your expression for once...no worries!) :)
Stella & Rory looks like you had a brilliant off leach walk. It looks so hot with you guys.
