Mum's being lazy

Howdy Everybuddy.  Things have been quiet around here.  Mum needs to get off her lazy butt chair and take us somewhere exciting and get some more photos of me us.

She has actually started some Christmas shopping and is getting her knickers in a knot stressy about what to buy.  Sometimes she goes to the shops, sits down for a coffee and muffin (she says she needs energy to shop, pfffft) chats with our sister(s) for hours and then wonders why she walks around and comes home with nothing!  Useless we say.  Write a list we say.  Does she listen???  Noooooo.

Anyhoo, she is thinking of going shopping again!  Leaving us home alone!  Well actually James is home now.  Our youngest brother has finished High School for ever and ever.

He is off to University next year (or possibly the year after if he has a Gap year, so he can work and save some money).  Hey, we forgot to say he passed his driving test and now has his licence!  Yay!!

Mum says she deserves a gold watch
for teaching five kids to drive!

So mates, have a good weekend.  Love the ones you're with and if your mum goes shopping, tell her to make a list ok?

No worries, and slobber, Rory and Stella

  1. Your mom needs to start listening to you! Poor Rory, you look so bored! If your mom takes you out for a ride, er, I mean walk, it will clear her mind for shopping!

Rory... are you aware of the fact that when you and your mum are both on a sofa... YOU are TALLER than she is??????? THAT just FACINATES US.
Did you get some of the RAIN? We heard about it from our furend BARB who lives in Manilla, NSW. She said it was WONDERFUL and has put out the last of the FIRES.
Tell your mum that Christmas Shopping is really EASY.. all she needs to do is buy 87 Stuffies and 87 Bones and everybuddy will be SO HAPPY. And there is NO assembly required.. and YOU TWO can teach everybuddy all the RULES fur Playing with the Stuffies and gnawing on the Bones... it will be WONDERFUL. NO WORRIES!!

  7. We think your mum should try doing most of her Christmas shopping on the computer this year so she sit down, eat nice food and drink cool drinks while she shops. This way she would be there with you, instead of leaving you home alone (and if your sisters want to help they can find good websites for her, and bookmark what they want from Santa!). Our human tried this last year (as she gets stressed by trying, to find car parks, limited shopping hours, shopping mall music and crowds). Enzo and I got the added bonus of getting to enjoy having couriers visit our house to add excitement to our days.

  13. OMD...A HUGE congrats to James fur finishin' high school and gettin' his license! Those are major accomplishments. But I do thinks your mum deserves more than a gold watch fur teachin' 5 kids to drive...maybe a new car or house and a case of beer.
My mum hasn't started shoppin' yet cuz her is like your mum, nevers knows what to buy and then her goes kerazy and thows her arms up.

  16. If she is out shopping, she should be buying you guys some yummies! Then it wouldnt be so bad. Maybe she will take you and let you pick out your favorites? Are there shopping places in your side of the country that allow the furries to come too?

  17. OHMYPUG i thinks if yours mom would just take you wif her Rory then she would get a bunch of discounts on what hers is a buying cos they would either want you out of the store fast or want to pet you..either way its a win win situation. Our mom has started her shopping so hers is not as stressed but with 8 grandkids it keeps her busy.

  18. Our Mom does all her shopping online because she HATES going to stores. However, our Mom thinks your Mom deserves a medal for teaching 5 kids to drive; our Granny was a horrible driving instructor, so our Mom didn't learn to drive until she left home!

  22. Make a list. Got it. It's hard to remember what I'm buying, so you guys are probably right. Maybe if I just bought socks all around it would be easy, but do you think the humans would find that fun?

  23. CONGRATS to James and your Mom for teaching 5 kids to drive--I taught my husband and I'm still recovering 30+ years later, and I still don't like to ride when he's driving! :-)!!!

As for that Christmas shopping--Good for you!! I really need to get thinking about that, sooner rather than later!!

Tell your mom to have fun shopping and give her YOUR list of doggy wants and needs. You have both been very good this year!

  26. I just do not understand these mothers these days...I mean leaving you all to fend for yourselves while shopping? My mom has finished her Christmas shopping and TWICE...she came home with nothing...I mean notta...for me. I checked the bags three times and got nothing but a "get your big slobbery head out of there". Hope you all get the attention you deserve soon.

  27. Sounds like lazies are a part of being human. My momma will sit around reading a dumb book or staring at the birds at the feeders and then wonder why she doesn't have time for anything. Sheesh.

    Kisses,
    Dexter
