Howdy Everybuddy, well things are getting back to normal at our place. Rory has started walking unaided, still wobbly and sometimes his leg gives out and he suddenly sits down but all in all he's fabaroony.
Our home has mats everywhere cause Rory sometimes slips on the lino, butt mum has found this non slip stuff and we've put that on the floor for now.
See Rory, ya can't slip here.
Nope, even on three legs, still not slipping.
This nursing job has taken it out of me.
Ahhhh, peace and quiet.
Stay there flat toy, I'm gonna chew you later.
Hurray, I can get into the lounge room now.
Hey, what's going on outside.
Hey S T E L L A..... come and see this.
BARK, BARK, BARK, BARK, BARK, BARK BARK BARK, BARK, BARK, BARK, BARK, BARK, BARK, BARK, BARK, BARK..........
(Mum sighs in the background. They love the sound of their own voices!)
See ya mates
No worries, and love, Stella and Rory (wobbly walkin' dude)

That is the happiest post I've seen in a while. What fantastic news. Of course Rory will always be goofy. It's a giant dog thing. We used to have extra carpets all over the place because the RH was never really very stable the last two years of his life and he would stumble and bumble about just like Rory! You take a break, now, Nurse Stella, you deserve it.
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Dexter
Stella, we are positive Rory is getting the best care cuz you are doing a splendid job! Keep improving Rory!

ReplyDeleteHi Rory & Stella - and Carol! Finally finding time to catch up & pop over to say hello. I'm so, so pleased that Rory is continuing to improve - and is walking unaided now! YAY!! That is such great news.
ReplyDeleteI laughed when I saw your non-slip mats - those were the types we got for Honey too when we were staying at that temporary place when we first arrived in Perth and Honey didn't like the slippery wooden floor there. They were great - so cheap from the Reject Shop and worked like a dream. The only problem I found was that they really showed up the fur & other dirt on the floor! And Honey was going through her summer moult then - so the floor looked dreadful. Well, at least it prodded me to vacuum more often! ;-)
Oh, I also wanted to say thank you so much to Carol for the lovely email, for all your comments on Honey's blog in the past few weeks and for your constant support & friendship.

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with some pics to drive the message home a bit, but other than that, this is great blog. A great read. Taruhan Bola Online Agen Sbobet Bola Tangkas
