Rory gets the boot.

Yep, that's right.  I've got the boot.  On.  Again.  Sigh.
The other day Tyler our cousin came over for a play.  Yep, he's the one who thought he would snack on rat bait.  He had his last check the other day and his blood is clotting just fine now.

Looks like an angel doesn't he,
but inside that Lab is a cracker hehe.

Well, he always likes to go cracker and run around and I thought I'd run around too.  It was fun.  I sorta have to gallop while my dodgy leg does its best and sometimes I do a couple of hops too just for balance.  We had a great time.

I came inside later and mum notices blood over the carpet.  Yep, I'd torn my nail again and broken open my pad on my toe.  Mum sighs, gets the boot out of the drawer where we thought it was going to stay and so for the last two days I've been wearing it.  Ya know, I missed the special stinkyness of my boot.  It is wonderful.  Can you imagine wearing a sock for a couple of months without washing it?  Mmmmm, good isn't it.  Mum tries to wipe it out with baby wipes and stuffs but it's leather (suede) and she hasn't washed it properly.  I love it as it is.

Possibly today or tomorrow the boot will come off again and my foot will be fine.  Here's some photos of us having breakfast.  Sometimes Stella's ears fall into her food hehe.

Mmmm, dry food, no extras, mmmmm, nom nom nom.

Mum, you can't possibly expect me to eat this can ya?

My blood under the carport.

On my pillow outside.

 Well, see ya later aligator.
Have a great weekend mates.
No worries, and slobber, Rory and Stella

  6. Stella Down Under and Frankie, close by, A good friend once had a prettly cocker like Stella whose ears fell into her dish and her mother, twisted the two ears together by the very ends of the fuhrs, and clipped them with a clothes pin. Now the important thing is not to engage the skin but only just the fuhrs.. If your ears have long enough fuhrs at the ends, you can do it. Give it a try and see if it works for you.

    Cheers, Jo and Stella

  14. OH NOSE we were just talking about you NOT wearing that in your pictures last week. We sure hope it heals up real fast. I thinks you need Gussie boy to come over and clean her ears, cos he does that really well for me, and Maggie. He is going to put his skill on his job application.

  17. Oh, Rory. You need to be careful! But at least Mum knew right where to find your stinky boot! I'm glad to hear that Tyler is doing just fine again. But I'm betting he hasn't learned his lesson, and will still eat anything he can find.

G'day mates - been toooooo long; and actually this is a cheat, cuz still don't have my own ethernets sorted. Had to BUY this day's worth from someone else. Anyhoo. It is lovely to see everyone again though my visits will have to be short and sweet most places. Okay Rory, so you got the boot on again. But at least you are up and about and getting into the thick of things!!! Big hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  21. Oh Rory - you are getting fragile. We know that smell you are talking about - try having to keep a boot on a horses hoof for a few days. It's enough to knock you out.
