Howdy Mates, we found this spider web this morning.
Isn't it beautiful. Have a great weekend all.
The
Spider Web
By: Mary Ann Hoberman
The
spider spun a silver web
Above
the gate last night
It
was round with little spokes
And
such a pretty sight
This
morning there were drops of dew
Hung
on it, one by one;
They
changed to diamonds, rubies red.
When
they were lit with sun.
A
spiders nice to have around
To
weave a web so fine
On
which to string the drops of dew
That
catch the bright sunshine.
No worries, and slobber, Rory and Stella
that looks like the work of an orb spider - always loved seeing them with the dew on them

ReplyDeleteI'm impressed Carol, that's a beauty. I've been known to capture some good ones myself. It's their pattern and the brilliance of the spider itself I think. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteThat is one massive spider web. I don't want to see the spider who built it.
