Koala Rescue and Summer skies

Howdy Mates.  A few weeks ago (actually the day the bushfires started) our sissy was leaving work and found this koala in great distress in the carpark of her work.

Apparently he/she had been there most of the day. Our sissy told her manager and they took water out to the poor koala but he/she was not interested.  Tess came home to tell mum.  Mum went back to sissy's work and then rang Koala Rescue and they came out within half an hour.  It is very unusual to find a koala on the ground and unresponsive.  The little koala was taken into care and within about three days was re-hydrated and well enough to be released back into the same area.   We hope she is fine now.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, er, our place, I like to snooze away the hot days.

Stellie likes to sit out the front with Dad and bark at watch people pass by.

Here's a photo of our summer sky, taken from our backyard, to warm up all our mates having cold snowy weather.

No worries, and slobbery love, Rory and Stella

  1. How do you guys cope with the heat? I don't like it much, I prefer winter.

  3. Crikey ...... I'm glad your Mum called koala rescue. That poor bloke didn't look too happy, aye?? Sure hope he/she's OK now. I guess you are looking forward to autumn as we are. It's been too hot and humid for us lately. I sleep all day too. Thank goodness I get to the beach a couple of times a day.
Those are beautiful photos of you two.
    How's the foot going, Rory??

  19. Hooray for Mum and Sissy for saving that koala! And hooray for Stella, warning passers-by to stay away from HER house!

Our sky looks a lot like yours today! It's just that it's bitter cold, and we have feet of snow on the ground. Well, maybe it will melt a little bit next week.

  20. Thanks for saving that poor Koala baby! Glad she is recovered. It is very odd to see you all enjoying Summer as so much of our country is buried in snow...it is even cold here in Albuquerque and there was so much snow last weekend that momma and dad had to delay driving to pick up Gentle Storm, our new sister.

  23. I am very happy to read this. This is the kind of manual that needs to be given and not the random misinformation t hat's at the other blogs. Appreciate your sharing this best posting. Liga Inggris Jadwal Liga Inggris Klasemen Liga Inggris

  24. There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game. Both boys and girls feel the impact of just a moment’s pleasure, for the rest of their lives.

So let me reword that: Thnx for the treat! But yeah Thnkx for spending the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love reading more on this topic. If possible, as you become expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more details? It is highly helpful for me. Big thumb up for this blog post! Read More Read More Read More
