Howdy Mates, we had a visitor the other day. It was a kookaburra. He was sitting on our back fence. Mum loves them and they always make her laugh with their call.

Crikey Tweedles thought they sounded beautiful. I don't think their call is beautiful but it sure is unique and you can't help but laugh along with 'em. Mum LOVES 'em. She been trying to get a video of 'em, laughing their heads off in an old gum tree but she never has the camera ready when she needs it. It sure was nice of that beautiful bloke to come pay you a visit, aye??

Mom used to sing a song about kookaburras to the little ones. We all lifted our heads from our morning nap when she played the sound :)
