Howdy Mates. Our Dad received an award from Bertie
called the Blogville Darwin-lite Award. You can check out our entry here. The basis of our story was that years ago Dad found who he thought to be our sissy Kara (cocker spaniel) down the street from our place, brought her home and then realised it was in fact, Zara, a cocker spaniel from a couple of streets away!!
Anyhoo, because of this little mishap, Dad won Bertie's award. He was quite proud of himself actually, bragging about being known around the world hehe.
Here I am opening Dad's present for him.
Mmmm, smells like Bertie.
Jeez Stellie, give us a paw will ya.
What's this?
Right, Dad, all opened for ya.
Perfect fit.
Wonder if my little brother realises it has a spaniel on it hehehe.
At least we won't lose Dad when he goes walking!
Bertie and Gail. Thanks so much.
We had fun remembering our Dad's silly antics and he has a new
T Shirt to wear with pride.
No worries, and slobbery love, Rory and Stella
I suggest you get your Dad chipped

ReplyDeleteHi Stella and Rory,
ReplyDeleteGail I and I are so pleased that your Dad was happy about winning my little competition and loves the tee shirt (and has a good sense of humour!)
Hope all's well Down Under.
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
PS For some reason, Gail wants me to mention that she was brought up virtually in the shadow of the Trent Bridge cricket ground...
Sigh, your T shirt is the only thing to give us a smile. Congrats to the Poms. Sigh. Michael Clark retiring, mum sighs. Wonder if us pups could try and join the team. We couldn't do much worse hehehe.
