Howdy Mates, you nose we are thinking of everybuddy involved with big storm Sandy. We're waiting to hear from our mates so we nose that you are all ok. Hope your power is back on real soon.
Here's a few photos of our garden. Mum is amazed she has flowers at all cause Rory and I sorta like to eat plants and move them to other places. Sometimes, it makes her go coo coo in the head, hehehe.
Just a couple of little friends in the garden.
A seat in the shade.
This is a Bay Leaf tree which gives us heaps of beautiful shade.
Our Angel brother Brucey, sends mum a flower every
anniversay of his going to the Rainbow Bridge to make her smile.
Mum planted this climbing rose in the worst possible spot
(or so she was told) and it has thrived and the smell of the little pink roses is wonderful.
Mum felt eyes boring into her!
Muuuuuuuuuum, what're you doing down there?
We call these little flowers Seaside Daisies and they self seed. They have started to grow on the wall of the old oven that used to be in the old cottage that was here.
One plant that even mum has success with.
This one's a bit puny but we tried to prune it too.
This one's a bit puny but we tried to prune it too.
Lovely smelling lavendar.
My big brother's toys from when he was a little fella.
We put the top on our little gazebo. A few years ago when we first got it, it had sides and everything to shade everybuddy but we felt kinda hungry and chewed it to bits and pieces. Yes you guess it. Mum went coo coo again. Gosh she's funny.
Our little house is back in the Summer position.
And last, our pink geraniums. Very hardy plant. It must be cause we have tried our best to 'prune' it but it keeps on growing.
Take care mates. You're in our thoughts.
No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
Thanks, Rory, for that tour of your garden! Your flowers ate very pretty. Our mom has a black thumb and only trusts herself with succulents and geraniums! BOL!

We really like those Seaside Daisies. We might have to try and find us some of those for our next spring. They look like something that would grow here!
ReplyDeleteWyatt and Stanzie
Beautiful garden. Roxy is quickly trying to turn our native garden into a desert. Naturally, I Daisy, love those daisies best. I think SHE does, too.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
You have a very beautiful garden. You two must be amazing gardeners and your pruning sure has helped out a lot. Not sure why your mum would go coo coo. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
You guys have a beautiful home.
ReplyDeleteYour garden is looking beautiful, we love all the different flowers. It's funny, isn't it - wherever you go in the world, there are always roses :)

I love your garden too Carol, especially the little daisies growing on that go.r.g.e.o.u.s remnant oven! What a wonderful 'piece' to have in one's garden. Lucky girl!!
ReplyDeleteOh that has cheered us up seeing your lovely summer garden. It was 38 degrees when Mum took me for a walk this morning.... my winter coat and jim jams are all ready to go! Deccy x
ReplyDeleteI love your garden... I love to prune things!
ReplyDeleteLoving you garden guys. We too prune and get told off and break things. BOL. Our hard efforts never are appreciated. Have a happy Halloween.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
You are definitely a better gardener than me LOL. My bay tree sits in a small pot. It's a survivor, more than 10 years old. Wouldn't it be nice if I could sit under it? :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful garden - your pruning must be working well :-) Thanks for the tour. Have a great day - woofs and licks from Magic xx
ReplyDeleteOh I love the close ups up your noses!! We are all ok here, but many of our neighbors are not. Enjoy your garden for us today!
ReplyDeleteWhat cute snouts! I just love your Momma's gardens especially that rose that Angel Brucey sends her!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely garden you have!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have many flowers now that we are approaching winter here, so it is very nice to see all your pretty ones. Mom loves those seaside daisies.
ReplyDeleteSandy did a lot of damage, it is going to be a long time for things to get back to normal for so many. So very sad.
Happy Halloween.

ReplyDeleteYour garden and yard is beautiful! Nice of you to help Mom out rearranging the plants. We love how Brucey sends one rose every year.
We weathered the storm and had no major damage at our house. Thank goodness. We are praying for those who had damage. It was horrible.
Hugs,
Lily Belle & Muffin
Hi Stella DU and Rory!
ReplyDeleteThe poor East Coasters are having a rough time without electricity and lots of water damage. We live in the upper Middle of the USA so all we ever get are snow storms and in the summer big blow storms!
Your garden is really pretty and I love the flowers. Those little white ones are super.
Try and stay out of trouble with your Mum, won't you?
Cheers,
Stella, Jo and Zkhat, Up Over
Beautiful garden.
ReplyDeleteHi, Guys! Love your garden! Anything we had left was blown off by Sandy, excepting a few leaves. We lost power Monday, but it came back on late last night, so we've spent the day washing up dishes and clothes and people and floors. But the house is intact, and only half of a small tree came down in our yard. Victory for us!
