Good morning mum. Is it time for breakfast?
What do ya mean, you need a cuppa first???
Stink eye Rory, give her the stink eye!
Every darn morning, mum ALWAYS has to have her cuppa before she can function. Sheesh.
Soft, we tell ya, she's soft.
Tell us mates, do you get fed as soon as you get up?
No worries (well if we ever get fed it will be) and love,
Stella and Rory
Our pups starve right along with you first thing--They don't get fed right away either in the morning. But Todd always, always insists on having a treat first thing. He'll run and jump around the cabinet where the treats are kept--How can I say 'no' to all that energy so early in the morning?
ReplyDeleteSame here mom can't function till she has her cup of tea.
ReplyDeleteI do say the first thing that happens when we get up is MOM lets me outside and as soon as I come back in she has my breakfast ready. I guess I am a lucky pup. Hope ya all don't starve.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
Yeah, we've trained HER. SHE takes all her tablets...vitamins and stuff, we get our breakfast bone biscuits, walk and THEN SHE gets her coffee when we get back.

Our routine is we are meant to wait on our "beds" until mum gets up - then she goes outside to the garden with us so we can do our business. When she is happy, we know she will let us back inside and give us a Tux each. I always run across the room, with my biscuit in my mouth, to my bed to eat it there. Enzo just drops it on the floor and makes lots of crumbs where ever he is. Then mum seems busy in the kitchen making coffee and lunches. Enzo always visits dad in the bathroom and tries to steal dad's socks. I always wait by the kitchen bench in case I get any lunch scraps. Only after dad leaves for work do we get fed!

Must be food deprived, as I can't spell my name right above.

I drink my cup of coffee while I'm making Annie's breakfast.
ReplyDeleteTell Mum to get her act together...no need to sit for a cuppa :-)
So not right guys. Foodables need to be delivered like yesterday. Have a marvellous Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Does she drink tea or coffee? Because a "cuppa" over here means a cup of tea - the British solution to, like, everything!
ReplyDeleteWoof, your foodies should come first though!
Pippa :)
We all go out in the garden after we get up and when we come back in we can have our breakfast. The cats get fed first though - not sure why!! Woofs and licks from Magic xx
ReplyDeleteI think our humans are like cars - they need a pit stop and fuel before they can run :o)
ReplyDeleteHiya guys! Yep, we wake up, do the morning stretch, and then we get fed and go for a walkie. If it's our peep's day off, we then go back for a snooze. If they have to go to work, then we stay up and snooze after they leave. We love that 5am hour! :)
ReplyDeleteOur mom drinks COFFEE... and what we do is Make SURE it is SOOOOO hot that she CAN't Drink it right away... so she has TIME to fix us somethingy. Give it a try... BOILING SCALDING HOT... that is the KEY..
ReplyDeletePeeS... that was some MAJOR Stink Eye... we don't understand why That ALONE didn't get HER back on the right track.
NO WORRIES NO WORRIES...
WHAT, after she gets her stuffs, how rude. As for us we don't do breakfast so nobody is behind taking care of us in the food department, you guys have a great day, AFTER SHE feeds you!
ReplyDeleteThe Mad Scots
Lucky for me, my mom does not like coffee. Lucky for her, I like to shake off the sleepys (head shake, stretch, sling drool all over the walls) before I eat. But I will have to try the stink eye look for the toys!
ReplyDeleteWell it use to be that Mom would drink her coffee BEFOrE she fed us our breakfasts but now after training her in the proper pug way she feeds US first, and HER coffee second. She says, that way she can drink it in peace whatever that means.

ReplyDeleteNow the J's are long gone, I have only myself to feed - but brekky IS the most important meal and sometimes I cannot even feed myself without that first cuppa... though I admit when they were still with me, they came first!!
But seriously daawwwgggs, 999 minutes isn't sooo long to wait..... $+|

How selfish, BOL!
ReplyDeleteIt is the same in our house, even though she can see we are on the verge of starvation.

Every meal is the most important meal of the day as far as my dogs are concerned!
ReplyDeleteA wise person once told me to never feed a dog as soon as you get up in the morning. Make them wait a bit. Otherwise, you will end up with a dog that tries to wake you up a little bit earlier each day in order to have breakfast a little bit earlier each day :-) I always have a cuppa before my dogs eat!
We get up at 4AM but don't eat until 6, so we have to wait 2 whole hours! We get breakfast before mom and dad do so that's a plus!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots♥

It seems like somebody has their priorities wrong. No matter what time momma gets up, the FIRST thing she does is give me my breakfast. 4AM, 5AM, 6AM (never later). Time to start the day! She says it is because I am super annoying otherwise. Well, she's right. I do give her the stink eye if she tries to do something else. Besides, she makes my breakfast while the coffee brews and by the time my bowl of goodness is ready, so is her first dose of caffeine.
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Dexter
The WDA must wait until after momma has her coffee AND breakfast before we get ours! To be fair, she does share her breakfast with us, but still...
ReplyDeleteWe wish!
ReplyDeleteHas have to wait for them to eat and shower and dress and go to work... Feeding us is the LAST thing they do... pft!!
Brutus goes outside as soon as the first person gets here, and then his bowl gets delivered to the food zone - but only with dry puppy food! He can graze all day long. Of course, Brutus has people around for about 18 hours per day to let him in and out...
ReplyDeletexoxo Marjie and Brutus
Oh Stella and Rory, poor darlings! You should stand your Mum in the corner.......er, with her cuppa though! :)
ReplyDeleteHi guys!
ReplyDeleteSorry I haven't been around. That was an awesome stink eye! I get walked immediately when I get up otherwise momma would have to use the bathroom a gazillion times during my walkies if she can a cup first. I win!!
Love Norwood
We feel for you Dude's that's our Humom all over, a cuppa first..So selfish BOL xx00xx
ReplyDeleteMollie and Alfie
I need a cuppa first. I can't even feed a dog without it :) I'm with your mum on this one!
ReplyDeleteI get fed first, then Gail gets a cuppa. Surely the only right way to do things?
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!

ReplyDeleteYes I am fed before the peeps...the secret to this is to be able to sing at the top of your lungs non stop until the foodables are served.
